Duties of the Auditing & Investigation Division

Coordinating with Zonal Education Offices and schools.

Responding to audit queries from the Auditor General's Department for Western Province educational activities.

Coordinating with Zonal Education Offices and schools in connection with audit queries referred by the Chief Secretary of the Western Province to the Provincial Department of Education.

Submitting answers related to observations referred to the Provincial Public Accounts Committee.

Reporting on financial irregularities referred to the Western Province Department of Education by various parties and issuing relevant reports.
06
Handling matters related to losses exceeding Rs. 25,000.
